Good architects are worth it
Next is a hidden benefit of the lot. Many are sixty or seventy feet wide, but this one spans 100-feet which allowed for the free-flowing one-story design. Take a quick look at the floorplan on page two, and you will notice the ideal position of rooms. The entire right wing of the house is all master bedroom--the remaining three bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house. If you have children they will turn into teenagers who play loud music (guaranteed to annoy you), they roughhouse with their friends, and their "normal" routine means they don't go to bed 'til the wee hours of the night. With all this commotion, you will appreciate it takes place on the opposite side of the house.

Is there any chance you may need to take care of an elderly parent some day? Or do you have parents that will make extended visits? If so, the split-bedroom design affords maximum privacy for all.
